An expeditious convergent total synthesis affords (±)-γ-rubromycin (1) in 4.4% overall yield. The longest linear sequence is 12 steps from commercial starting materials. The effort highlights a remarkable late-stage oxidative [3 + 2] cycloaddition for construction of the spiroketal, a regioselective carbonyl methylenation, a boron tribromide promoted deprotection, ortho- to para- naphthoquinone spiroketal rearrangement, and a tautomerization sequence.

Basic Activities of Daily Living-Preschool Period Tool BADL-P) is a fast and quick test that does not require a special environment, where activities of daily living (ADLs) in preschool children are questioned. The aim of the study was to conduct a Turkish reliability and cultural adaptation of the BADL-P. The study was conducted among 211 parents of preschool children.

Objective: Although the evaluation of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) or atrial flutter (AFL) is crucial for appropriate medical management, the prediction of reduced LVEF (<50%) with AF/AFL electrocardiograms (ECGs) lacks evidence. This study aimed to investigate deep-learning approaches to predict reduced LVEF (<50%) in patients with AF/AFL ECGs and easily obtainable clinical information.
Methods: Patients with 12-lead ECGs of AF/AFL and echocardiography were divided into those with LVEF <50% and ≥50%.

To compare the efficacy and safety of lanadelumab versus other approved long-term prophylaxis (LTP) treatments in patients with pediatric hereditary angioedema (HAE) aged <12 years. A systematic literature review was conducted to identify studies of LTP in patients with HAE aged <12 years. Two studies met the inclusion criteria in an indirect treatment comparison of efficacy and safety data in pediatric HAE patients.

Energy decomposition analysis (EDA) based on density functional theory (DFT) and self-consistent field (SCF) calculations has become widely used for understanding intermolecular interactions. This work reports a new approach to EDA for post-SCF wave functions based on closed-shell restricted second-order Mo̷ller-Plesset (MP2) together with an efficient implementation that generalizes the successful SCF-level second-generation absolutely localized molecular orbital EDA approach, ALMO-EDA-II, and improves upon MP2 ALMO-EDA-I. The new MP2 ALMO-EDA-II provides distinct energy contributions for a frozen interaction energy containing permanent electrostatics and Pauli repulsions, polarized energy-yielding induced electrostatics, dispersion-corrected energy, and the fully relaxed energy, which describes charge transfer.

The aim of this study is to investigate the psychometrics of the Dutch version of the Child and Adolescent Trauma Screener (CATS-2). By this, an international recognized instrument to screen symptoms of post-traumatic stress (PTSS) in children and adolescents according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders, 5th edition (DSM-5) becomes available for Dutch youth. Based on the validated CATS-2 we established the Dutch version, named the KJTS.
