Periodontal procedures often require flap advancement for adequate coverage of the surgical site, with tension-free primary closure essential for successful outcomes. Although the periosteal releasing incision is frequently performed, it may necessitate deeper or more incisions, which could result in consequences such as edema, bleeding, paresthesia, and discomfort for the patient. To address these issues, the modified periosteal releasing incision was proposed to minimize trauma into the submucosa.

Whippets abuse, prevalent among recreational drug users, poses significant health risks, particularly through the inactivation of vitamin B12 by nitrous oxide (NO). This deficiency can lead to myelopathy, resulting in serious neurological complications. We present two female patients, aged 22 and 35, with a history of regular whippet use over the past three years, who exhibited clinical symptoms of myelopathy, including motor weakness, rigidity, sensory changes, and gait abnormalities.

Schwannoma is a benign tumor arising from Schwann cells of peripheral nerves. Although recurrence is rare, this case report highlights a unique instance of recurrent ulnar nerve schwannoma in a 76-year-old construction worker, emphasizing the complexities of surgical management. The patient presented to our orthopedic clinic with persistent pain and tingling in the medial aspect of his left forearm and hand for the past two years.
