AI Article Synopsis

  • Brachial arterial aneurysm is uncommon, but this case highlights multiple aneurysms found in the brachial artery.
  • The patient also had several arteriovenous malformations in the forearm, leading to issues like reduced blood flow (distal ischemia).
  • The report discusses the surgical treatment employed to address these complex vascular issues.

Background: Existing research indicates that fear of progression influences the quality of life of patients with various diseases. However, the influence of fear of progression on the quality of life of patients with heart failure and its underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study aimed to identify the link between fear of progression and quality of life in patients with heart failure and explore the multiple mediating roles of psychological distress and resilience in this association.

Clinical mastitis, a prevalent production disease in the dairy industry, causes significant pain and swelling in dairy cows' udders. While previous research highlights a symbiotic relationship between humans and animals, particularly in terms of health, this study investigates how animal health, specifically clinical mastitis, influences farmers' well-being. Acknowledging farmers' pivotal role in mitigating animal health problems, we examined the human-animal relationship by exploring how dairy cow health relates to the psychological well-being of dairy farmers.
