Introduction: Sarcomas are rare cancers originating from mesenchymal tissues, manifesting in diverse anatomical locations, but notably in connective tissue, muscles and the skeleton. Thoracic sarcomas present a unique diagnostic and surgical challenge attributable to their rarity and pathoanatomy. Besides physiologic factors, associated injuries, and injury patterns also require consideration. Introduction: Pulmonary high-grade neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) includes small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) and large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC). The seventh and eighth editions of the TNM classification for lung cancer confirmed the applicability of this staging system for SCLC. With the proposal of N2 and M1c subcategories for the ninth edition classification, we assessed the applicability to NECs.

Introduction: The Rutherford Classification for chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) is used to categorize peripheral artery disease severity through history and physical examination. This study investigated whether higher Rutherford Classification correlates with worse clinical outcomes and could serve as a predictive tool.
