To investigate the expression of the unknown angiotensin II type 2 receptor interacting protein (ATIP) isoforms in the rat we used the known sequences of human and mouse ATIP to design sequencing primers to enable us to sequence rat ATIP3 and ATIP4. Exon 4, which is present in human but not mouse ATIP, was not identified in the coding region of rat ATIP. The expression levels of these genes in a range of rat tissues were examined, and we concluded that there is little similarity in the relative tissue distribution of the various ATIP isoforms in rat and human.

Background: Binge drinking is a risky pattern of alcohol (ethanol) consumption associated with a variety of negative outcomes, including the development of alcohol use disorder (AUD). Many neuropeptide systems are thought to become dysregulated in AUD; however, whether repeated cycles of binge-like ethanol consumption and abstinence following binge-like drinking alter neuropeptide mRNA in key brain regions, such as the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC), insular cortex (IC), amygdala, and lateral hypothalamus (LH), remains unknown.

Methods: Male and female mice underwent 0, 3, or 6 cycles of binge-like ethanol consumption using the "Drinking in the Dark" (DID) paradigm.

HOS15 impacts DIL9 protein stability during drought stress in Arabidopsis.

Key Laboratory of Molecular Epigenetics of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Northeast Normal University, Changchun, 130024, China.

HIGH EXPRESSION OF OSMOTICALLY RESPONSIVE GENE 15 (HOS15) acts as a substrate receptor of E3 ligase complex, which plays a negative role in drought stress tolerance. However, whether and how HOS15 participates in controlling important transcriptional regulators remains largely unknown. Here, we report that HOS15 physically interacts with and tightly regulates DROUGHT-INDUCED LIKE 19 (DIL9) protein stability.

Introduction: Teacher enthusiasm is an undisputedly important characteristic of teachers, with demonstrated positive effects on student outcomes. Existing research typically operationalised teacher enthusiasm via trait-based teacher- or student ratings. Strikingly little is known about how teachers' trait enthusiasm manifests in their actual in-situ classroom behaviour.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is associated with oxidative stress and redox signaling disruption. It is recently reported that proautophagic autophagy/beclin-1 regulator 1 (AMBRA1) is a positive modulator of the NF-κB pathway that promotes intestinal inflammation. However, its effect on intestinal redox state and whether AMBRA1 is regulated by oxidative stress remain unknown.

Vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) is a proton-monoamine antiporter that is widely expressed in central and peripheral neurons and plays a crucial role in loading monoamine neurotransmitters into secretory vesicles. Dysfunction of VMAT2 causes many neuropsychiatric disorders, such as depression and Parkinson's disease. Consequently, VMAT2 is a valid and important therapeutic target.
