Background: Children receiving general anesthesia while undergoing surgery have a significantly high incidence of emergence delirium (ED). Nonpharmacological interventions yield beneficial effects on preventing pediatric ED. However, the relative effects of nonpharmacological interventions on pediatric ED prevention based on various perioperative phases remain unknown.

Background: Electroacupuncture (EA) is commonly used in clinical settings as a significant method for treating a variety of pain and cerebrovascular disorders. Despite its widespread use, there is limited information on the impact of perioperative EA on postoperative stroke. This study aimed to investigate whether preoperative EA therapy could reduce the occurrence of acute stroke in patients undergoing interventional surgery for intracranial aneurysms.

Aim: Prospective outcome prediction plays a crucial role in guiding preoperative decision-making in patients with Chiari malformation type I (CM-Ⅰ) with syringomyelia. Here, we aimed to develop a predictive model for postoperative outcomes in patients with CM-Ⅰ with syringomyelia by integrating clinical and radiological parameters.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analysed the data of 151 adult patients diagnosed with CM-I with syringomyelia who underwent posterior fossa decompression surgery.

Objective: To investigate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) on the postoperative nutritional status and recovery of gastrointestinal function in colorectal cancer patients.
Methods: Sixty-five patients with ASA grade I-II, undergoing laparoscopic radical colorectal cancer surgery under elective general anesthesia were selected. They were divided into two groups according to the random number table method: the TEAS group (T group) and the sham stimulation group (S group).

Purpose: We conducted a more comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of auricular acupuncture (AA) in perioperative pain management.
Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) findings were retrieved from the Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, PubMed, Web of Science, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Wanfang, VIP, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases from their inception to March 2024 using the search terms "pain", "auriculotherapy", and "randomized controlled trial". The experimental group was treated with AA alone or in combination with analgesic drugs, whereas the control group was treated with sham auricular acupuncture, placebo, conventional treatment, or no treatment.
