Background: To date, comprehensive data on the distribution of chronic kidney disease (CKD), the most prevalent comorbidity in diabetes, among Chinese adults with diabetes is lacking. Additionally, research gaps exist in understanding the association between CKD and cardiovascular health (CVH), an integrated indicator of lifestyle and metabolic control, within a nationwide sample of Chinese adults with diabetes.

In the growing field of geriatric psychiatry, the "3 Ds"-depression, dementia, and delirium-are a complex clinical challenge, especially in patients with medical comorbidities. This is a case report of a 96-year-old Saudi woman with chronic kidney disease, heart failure, and recurrent hyponatremia presented with worsening sleep, depression, persecutory delusions, and hallucinations following an intensive care unit (ICU) stay for urinary tract infection. Examination revealed cognitive decline and depressive symptoms, with sodium at 123 mmol/L.

Purpose: Approximately 30% of patients with sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) present with masked hypertension, primarily characterized by elevated nighttime blood pressure. This study aimed to develop a hypertension prediction model tailored for primary care physicians, utilizing simple, readily available predictors derived from type IV sleep monitoring devices.

The present study examined the effects of a culturally adapted intervention, ¡Iniciando! la Adultez, on sleep and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in Latino young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their Spanish-speaking parents. The intervention targeted the transition to adulthood, a period associated with increased challenges in sleep and HRQoL, particularly for underserved Latino populations. Participants included 26 young adults and 38 parents who completed assessments at baseline and post-treatment.
