Liaoning cashmere goat is an outstanding breed in China primarily for cashmere production, with strict controls against genetic outflow. Melatonin(MT) is a key factor affecting cashmere growth, and preliminary transcriptome sequencing indicated that melatonin upregulates the expression of the PIP5K1A gene in skin fibroblasts. To predict the physicochemical properties of PIP5K1A in Liaoning cashmere goats, ascertain the tissue localization of PIP5K1A in their skin, and explore the role and mechanism of PIP5K1A in the proliferation of skin fibroblasts.

While cisplatin is an effective anti-tumor treatment, it induces ototoxicity through mechanisms involving DNA damage, oxidative stress, and programmed cell death. Rho-associated coiled-coil-containing protein kinase (ROCK) is essential for numerous cellular processes, including apoptosis regulation. Studies have suggested that ROCK inhibitors could prevent apoptosis and promote regeneration.

We present a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of a neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase type 3 (NTRK3) soft tissue sarcoma (STS), arising from the occipitalis muscle. NTRK3 is a mutation only recently described in STS using next-generation sequencing and is rarely implicated in STS.Currently, there is limited literature to guide care.

Mammalian auditory epithelium (the organ of Corti) stands out among different inner-ear epithelia in that it has large extracellular fluid spaces such as the tunnel of Corti, Nuel's space, outer tunnel, and spacing between outer hair cells. We tested the hypothesis that advective flow facilitates mass transport in the cochlear fluids, using computational simulations of cochlear fluid dynamics and experiments to investigate mass transport in extracellular fluid spaces of the cochlea. Three model simulations were performed in series-cochlear mechanics, nonlinear fluid dynamics, and mass transport.
