T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (T-ALL) is a rare aggressive haematological malignancy characterised by the clonal expansion of immature T-cell precursors. It accounts for 15% of paediatric and 25% of adult ALL. T-ALL is associated with the overexpression of major transcription factors (TLX1/3, TAL1, HOXA) that drive specific transcriptional programmes and constitute the molecular classifying subgroups of T-ALL.

Background: Promoters serve as key elements in the regulation of gene transcription. In mammals, loop interactions between promoters and enhancers increase the complexity of the promoter-based regulatory networks. However, the identification of enhancer-promoter or promoter-related loops in Arabidopsis remains incomplete.

Background: Anorexia nervosa (AN) is a polygenic, severe metabopsychiatric disorder with poorly understood aetiology. Eight significant loci have been identified by genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)-based heritability was estimated to be ~ 11-17, yet causal variants remain elusive. It is therefore important to define the full spectrum of genetic variants in the wider regions surrounding these significantly associated loci.

Background: Accumulating studies have focused on long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) because of their regulatory effects on multiple cancers. However, the biological functions and molecular mechanisms of lncRNAs in gastric cancer (GC) remain to be elucidated in depth.
Methods: Long intergenic nonprotein coding RNA 1094 (LINC01094), a differentially expressed lncRNA between GC tissues and adjacent normal tissues, was identified.
