Objective: This study aimed to explore the social factors of patients and caregivers, including those related to their wishes for home-based end-of-life care that influence its fulfillment.

Methods: A secondary analysis was conducted using the dataset (home-based end-of-life care N = 625, hospital end-of-life care N = 7603) Comprehensive patient-based survey conducted by The Study on Quality Evaluation of Hospice and Palliative Care by Bereaved Caregivers (J-HOPE 4) and multivariate analysis (multiple logistic regression) to explore the impact of social factors of patients and caregivers on the fulfillment of home-based end-of-life care. The explanatory variables included 11 social factors of patients, such as age and sex, and 18 social factors of primary caregivers.

The primary aim of this expert narrative review is to unravel the complexities of feeding and eating disorders in the gastroenterology practice setting. We aim to critically assess current assessment screening tools for eating and feeding disorders to gain a comprehensive understanding of how these tools may be misconstrued in the context of gastrointestinal conditions. Additionally, our objective is to highlight the potential for over-pathologizing and under-pathologizing eating behavior in this patient population.

Objective: To evaluate the relationship between S/R, demographic data, and clinical variables of Brazilian adult patients with epilepsy (PWE).

Methodology: The scores of the WHO Quality of Life for Assessment of Spirituality, Religion, and Personal Beliefs (WHOQOL-SRPB) were related to demographic and clinical aspects, the Spirituality Self-Rating Scale (SSRS), and the Spiritual/Religious Coping Scale (SRC) of 60 PWE.

Results: The mean age was 42.
