Knowledge of the natural history of deficiency disorder (CDD) is limited to the results of cross-sectional analysis of largely pediatric cohorts. Assessment of outcomes in adulthood is critical for clinical decision-making and future precision medicine approaches but is challenging because of the diagnostic gap and duration of follow-up that would be required for prospective studies. We aimed to delineate the natural history retrospectively from adulthood.

Instability remains one of the most common indications for revision after total knee arthroplasty. To gain a better understanding of how an implant will perform in vivo and support surgeons in selecting the most appropriate implant design for an individual patient, it is crucial to evaluate the implant constraint within clinically relevant ligament and boundary conditions. Therefore, this study investigated the constraint of three different implant designs (symmetrical implants with and without a post-cam mechanism and an asymmetrical medial-stabilized implant) under anterior-posterior shear forces and internal-external rotation moments at different flexion angles in human cadaveric knees using a six-degrees-of-freedom joint motion simulator.

The commentary focuses on the requirements for access to medical assistance in dying in countries where this practice is legal. It shows that the different solutions adopted reflect a different balance between the principles of protection of life, reduction of suffering and respect for autonomy. The article also analyses the potential ethical problems associated with the decision-making capacity of psychiatric patients.

Introduction: Positionality statements accompanying peer-reviewed publications are increasingly being implemented in academic journals across many disciplines, including psychology. These statements serve as transparent, public acknowledgments of the authors' identities, which can offer valuable insight into the authors' work in the context of their lived experiences and potential biases. However, journal editors and associated staff risk harm by uniformly adopting a policy on positionality statements without consideration of the unintended consequences of implementing such practices.

Background: Upper limb fractures significantly alter movement, impacting function and recovery. Three-dimensional motion analysis allows precise assessment of these changes.
Methods: Sixty patients were divided into four groups: shoulder, elbow, wrist fractures, and controls.
