The article presents the analysis and description of clinical manifestation of writer's cramp detected in 21 patients living in Belarus. Clinical variants of disease, possible methods of treatment are discussed. The method for effective treatment of writer's cramp by an injection of botulotoxin type А with sonography is described. Patients with writer's cramp have undergone sonographic analysis of the forearm soft tissues in the area of supposed injection before the procedure of botulotoxin A introduction. Nerves and vessels position, subcutaneous fat and forearm muscles, thickness of points of an injection, have been determined. For objective assessment of qualities of treatment was used Burke-Fahn-Marsden scale.
