Purpose: Myxoinflammatory fibroblastic sarcoma (MIFS) is a rare, low-grade sarcoma affecting with predilection the acral soft tissues of middle-aged adults. Clinically, MIFS is associated with a high rate of local recurrence but infrequent distant metastases. The diagnosis remains challenging due to their wide histologic spectrum and overlap with reactive, benign, and low-grade malignant lesions.

1q21gain/amp is the most common in patients with multiple myeloma. However, there is limited research on the prognostic heterogeneity of 1q21+, and the prognostic of the 1q21 copy remains controversial. In this study, we primarily conducted a retrospective analysis of the prognostic significance of 1q21 gain/amp in 375 newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients.

The recent application of molecular techniques has facilitated the reorganization of this genus and the description of new species, resulting in a current total of 28 species. In Argentina, 11 species have been identified; however, the validity of and remains controversial.

Tartrazine (E102) is a controversial coloring agent whose potential impacts on human health are not fully understood. Our study reveals the vascular disrupting effects of tartrazine (TTZ) on developing zebrafish embryos in vivo and on human umbilical vein endothelial cells in vitro. The dye was shown to cause dose-dependent hemorrhages in zebrafish embryos.

The dinoflagellate genus Pfiesteria, encompassing Pfiesteria piscicida and P. shumwayae, became a hot topic in HABs research in the early 2000s due to numerous but controversial reports regarding life cycle and toxicity. While Pfiesteria presence has been reported from all continents, surprisingly, there has been no documented presence in China to date.
