We present a case of intraclavicular hemangioma with a description of its clinical, radiological and histological features and its differential diagnosis regarding other bony tumors.

Epithelioid hemangioma (EH), a rare benign tumor, is documented in only a few cases in the medical literature. The complications of epithelioid hemangioma depend on the site of their presentation. If located in the eye, epithelioid hemangiomas may lead to amblyopia; in the larynx, they can cause respiratory issues; and if affecting bone, they can result in osteolytic lesions.

In this report, we describe the case of a 62-year-old man who presented with pain in the left clavicle and swelling of the left upper limb. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed an intravascular tumor, which was completely resected surgically.

Intraosseous hemangiomas are extremely rare and benign neoplasms of vascular origin, usually occurring in adults and involving skull bones, vertebra, ribs, sternum, long bones, patella and clavicle. Iliac or pelvic bone involvement is extremely rare. Hemangiomas of the marrow spaces are extremely uncommon.

Sternal cleft anomalies are rare. Associated anomalies include pentalogy of Cantrell and posterior fossa abnormalities, hemangiomas, arteriopathy, cardiac anomalies, eye abnormalities, and sternal defects syndrome. There is only a single report of complete sternal cleft, pectus excavatum, and right clavicular hypoplasia in an adult.
