The quality of rice, evaluated using multiple quality-related traits, is the main determinant of its market competitiveness. In this study, two rice varieties with significant differences in quality-related traits were used as parents to construct two populations, BCF and BCF, with Kongyu131 (KY131) as the recurrent parent. A genetic linkage map was constructed using the BCF population based on 151 pairs of SSR/InDel polymorphic markers selected between the parents.

Spasticity of flexor digitorum profundus is frequently managed with botulinum toxin injections. Knowledge of the 3D morphology and intramuscular innervation of the digital bellies of flexor digitorum profundus is necessary to optimize the injections. The purpose of this study was to digitize and model in 3D the contractile and connective tissue elements of flexor digitorum profundus to determine muscle morphology, model and map the intramuscular innervation and propose sites for botulinum toxin injection.

Rodent coat color genes have been studied as a bioresource to understand developmental and cellular processes. The Downunder rat is a fancy variety with a marking on its belly that runs from the neck to the breech and appears to mirror the dorsal hooded marking. Here, we established a congenic strain carrying the Downunder (Du) gene in an F344 genetic background.
