TePixD, a cyanobacterial sensor of blue light using flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) (BLUF) which exists in a decamer form, was found to exhibit photoreaction sensitive to light intensity. While the number of excited molecules increased monotonically as the laser power increased, the number of decamers exhibiting a global conformational change initially increased, and then decreased with the increase of excitation intensity. This unusual power dependence was analyzed based on a Poisson distribution equation, demonstrating that decamers containing more than one excited monomer subunit do not undergo conformational change. Our results suggest that TePixD functions not only as a photosensor, but also by sensing light intensity.

This article presents new data on the integrated use of colloidal solutions of nanoparticles and low-intensity laser radiation on the biosynthetic activity of the medicinal mushroom . Traditional mycological methods, colloidal solutions of biogenic metals, and unique photobiological methods have also been used. It was found that colloidal solutions of nanoparticles of all metals used increased the growth characteristics of (55-60%), while irradiation of the fungal inoculum with laser light in a medium with nanoparticles reduced the growth activity of mycelia by 12.

We study properties of a light field at the tight focus of the superposition of two different-order cylindrical vector beams (CVBs). In the source plane, this superposition has a polarization singularity index amounting to the half-sum of the numbers of two constituent CVBs, while having neither spin angular momentum (SAM) nor transverse energy flow. We show that if the constituent CVBs have different-parity numbers, in the focal plane there occur areas that have opposite-sign longitudinal SAM projections, alongside areas of opposite-handed energy flows rotating on closed paths (clockwise and anticlockwise).

A theoretical method is proposed for generating far-zone scattered fields with concentric ring-like intensity distribution by properly controlling the distribution characteristics of particles. As an example, a collection of anisotropic Gaussian-centered determinate particles with quasi-homogeneous distribution is discussed. The results show that the number and size of concentric rings can be flexibly adjusted by controlling the structural parameters of the collection of particles.

The incorporation of Sb ions into all-inorganic halide lead-free perovskites bestows them with remarkable photoluminescence characteristics, including an extensive color tuning range, elevated photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), and reversible color transitions, which hold significant promise for applications in light-emitting diodes, anti-counterfeiting encryption technologies, and photodetectors. Sb ions not only create new optical absorption channels but also can be integrated into these materials as activators or sensitizers to modulate the bandgap and band structure. This review focuses on the optical properties of Sb ion-doped lead-free halide perovskites while examining potential energy transfer pathways across various doping systems.

Chemiluminescence offers ultrasensitive imaging for the diagnosis of a variety of diseases by removing the interference from excitation light sources. Here, we prepared two chemiluminescent metal-organic frameworks (Mn-ADA and Zn-ADA) by using (2,2')-3,3'-(anthracene-9,10-diyl)diacrylic acid (ADA) as a ligand. In Mn-ADA and Zn-ADA, the Mn atoms and Zn atoms are six-coordinated and eight-coordinated, respectively, and their frameworks are different in spatial structure.
