Immun Ageing
December 2024
Department of Immunology, Center of Immuno-molecular Engineering, Innovation & Practice Base for Graduate Students Education, Zunyi Medical University, Zunyi, China.
The increased incidence of inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and tumors in elderly individuals is closely associated with several well-established features of immunosenescence, including reduced B cell genesis and dampened immune responses. Recent studies have highlighted the critical role of dual receptor lymphocytes in tumors and autoimmune diseases. This study utilized shared data generated through scRNA-seq + scBCR-seq technology to investigate the presence of dual receptor-expressing B cells in the peritoneum of mouse and peripheral blood of healthy volunteers, and whether there are age-related differences in dual receptor B cell populations.

Introduction: Lonicera caerulea L. (blue honeysuckle) is a noteworthy fleshy-fruited tree and a prominent medicinal plant, which possesses notable characteristics such as exceptional resilience to winter conditions and early maturation, and the richest source of functional anthocyanins, particularly cyanidin-3-glucoside. The molecular mechanisms responsible for its freezing tolerance and anthocyanin biosynthesis remain largely unknown.

Cheese-associated microbiota and their interactions are crucial in determining the properties of cheese. This study aimed to compare the effects of different starter cultures on Cheddar cheese production using texture analysis, electronic sensory evaluation, and both volatile and non-volatile metabolomics. Specifically, we examined Lactococcus lactis BL19 and Lactococcus cremoris LC99, both individually and in combination.

The guanine exchange factor SOS1 plays a pivotal role in the positive feedback regulation of the KRAS signaling pathway. Recently, the regulation of KRAS-SOS1 interactions and KRAS downstream effector proteins has emerged as a key focus in the development of therapies targeting KRAS-driven cancers. However, the detailed dynamic mechanisms underlying SOS1-catalyzed GDP extraction and the impact of KRAS mutations remain largely unexplored.

Background: Increasing evidence suggests a complex interplay between psychiatric disorders and metabolic dysregulations. However, most research has been limited to specific disorder pairs, leaving a significant gap in our understanding of the broader psycho-metabolic nexus.
Methods: This study leveraged large-scale cohort data and genome-wide association study (GWAS) summary statistics, covering 8 common psychiatric disorders and 43 metabolic traits.
