Large-scale suppression from stochastic inflation.

We show nonperturbatively that the power spectrum of a self-interacting scalar field in de Sitter space-time is strongly suppressed on large scales. The cutoff scale depends on the strength of the self-coupling, the number of e folds of quasi-de Sitter evolution, and its expansion rate. As a consequence, the two-point correlation function of field fluctuations is free from infrared divergencies.

The neurodegenerative progression of Parkinson's disease affects brain structure and function and, concomitantly, alters the topological properties of brain networks. The network alteration accompanied by motor impairment and the duration of the disease has not yet been clearly demonstrated in the disease progression. In this study, we aim to resolve this problem with a modeling approach using the reduced Jansen-Rit model applied to large-scale brain networks derived from cross-sectional MRI data.

X-ray repair cross-complementing 2 (XRCC2), a critical protein in homologous recombination (HR), plays a significant role in the occurrence, progression, and drug resistance of colorectal cancer (CRC). In this study, a series of xanthohumol C derivatives were synthesized, and their anticancer activity was evaluated. The results revealed that A33 demonstrated the potent anticancer activity and effectively inhibited the proliferation of CRC cells in vitro.
