A microporous silver-selenidostannate, namely [(Me)(2)NH(2)](0.75)[Ag(1.25)SnSe(3)], has been solvothermally synthesized in the presence of in situ-generated dimethylammonium cation. The compound possesses a three-dimensional open-framework that is flexible to cation exchange.
