Background/objective: Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) associated vasculitis is a rare small vessel vasculitis that can cause pituitary hypophysitis. Hypophysitis is difficult to treat, often requiring high doses of glucocorticoids with frequent flaring as glucocorticoids are tapered. We present a case of ANCA vasculitis involving the pituitary gland successfully treated with rituximab.

Background: Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) and normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) are disorders of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow dynamics. Pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (PXA) is a rare low-grade astrocytoma (World Health Organization grade II) representing <1% of astrocytomas. Combination of IIH and NPH with PXA is unheard of, with few published cases discussing the association of CNS tumors with either IIH or NPH, but never combined.

Spinal hemangiomas are common, benign vascular lesions that involve the bony portion of vertebral bodies and are generally asymptomatic. Rarely, they can become aggressive and present with predominantly epidural extension, mimicking other neoplasms. We present the case of a fifty-one year old woman who presented with myelopathy and was discovered to have a large mass causing epidural spinal cord compression, thought to be due to a peripheral nerve sheath tumor.

Case: We report the case of a fifty-one-year-old woman who underwent an uneventful cubital tunnel release and was admitted five days after surgery with a diagnosis of infection. Despite multiple surgical debridements and prolonged intravenous antibiotic treatment, the wound edges continued to slough and necrose. A delayed diagnosis of postsurgical pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) was made, and corticosteroid and immunosuppressive treatment was administered, with immediate clinical improvement.

Case Report: We report a case of a fifty one year old woman with an agenesis of the dorsal pancreas with periampullary pancreaticobiliary adenocarcinoma.
