People who are higher in conscientiousness, extraversion, and agreeableness and lower in neuroticism tend to live longer. The present research tested the hypothesis that personality trait change in middle and older adulthood would also be associated with mortality risk, above and beyond personality trait level. Personality trait change may causally influence mortality risk through corresponding changes in health behaviors, social processes, and stress experience.

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a severe condition marked by intense nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, which is different from typical morning sickness. It is marked by weight loss exceeding 5% of pre-pregnancy weight, ketonuria, dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and in some cases, arrhythmias - primarily linked to electrolyte disturbances. Treatment typically involves conservative measures such as small, bland meals, medications like metoclopramide and ondansetron, and correction of electrolyte abnormalities.

Burn injury management and outcomes reveal observed disparities in individuals with darker skin tones, likely influenced by limited representation in medical literature and clinical research. These gaps may contribute to variations in care quality and outcomes for these populations. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across PubMed, Scopus, and Embase databases, initially yielding 74 articles.
