The resurgence of measles, syphilis, and HIV presents a significant threat to global health, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. These three infections involve lymph nodes and have unique pathologic findings in lymph nodes. We explore the pathological and clinical characteristics of these infections, focusing on their involvement of lymph nodes and their pathologic diagnosis in lymph node specimens.

This study assesses changes in cervical cancer screening (CCS) rates within the United States Military Health System (MHS) during this period. To date, no such data have been reported on COVID-19's effect on CCS within the MHS.

Monkeypox (mpox), caused by the MPOXV (monkeypox virus), has been endemic in Africa since its first identification in 1958. However, in May 2022, the world witnessed the first global outbreak associated with the West African clade. Even though thousands of cases have been recorded, our understanding of vertical transmission during pregnancy remains restricted due to an absence of reported cases in pregnant women and a lack of adequate clinical descriptions.

The three members of the genus capripoxvirus (CaPV), lumpy skin disease virus (LSDV), sheeppox virus (SPPV), and goatpox virus (GTPV) have common hosts and areas of overlapping geographical distribution with Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV). Hence, to ensure more cost-effective disease surveillance we developed and evaluated a Luminex assay for the simultaneous detection of antibodies against CaPV and RVFV in domestic ruminants. In cattle, the assay had a sensitivity (Se) of 98.
