Single-crystal X-ray diffraction and specific heat studies establish that strontium hexavanadium undecaoxide, SrV(6)O(11), undergoes a P6(3)/mmc to inversion twinned P6(3)mc structural transition as the temperature is lowered through 322 K. The P6(3)/mmc and P6(3)mc structures have been determined at 353 K and at room temperature, respectively. For the room-temperature structure, seven of the ten unique atoms lie on special positions, and for the 353 K structure all of the seven unique atoms sit on special positions. The P6(3)/mmc to P6(3)mc structural phase transition, accompanied by a magnetic transition, is a common characteristic of AV(6)O(11) compounds, independent of the identity of the A cations.

Background: Breastfeeding is vital for the health and well-being of both mothers and infants, and it is crucial to create supportive environments that promote and maintain breastfeeding practices.
Objective: The objective of this paper was to describe the development of a breastfeeding-friendly app called "bfGPS" (HKU TALIC), which provides comprehensive territory-wide information on breastfeeding facilities in Hong Kong, with the goal of fostering a breastfeeding-friendly community.
Methods: The development of bfGPS can be categorized into three phases, which are (1) planning, prototype development, and preimplementation evaluation; (2) implementation and updates; and (3) usability evaluation.
Unlabelled: The rat offers a uniquely valuable animal model in neuroscience, but we currently lack an individual-level understanding of the in vivo rat brain network. Here, leveraging longitudinal measures of cortical magnetization transfer ratio (MTR) from in vivo neuroimaging between postnatal days 20 (weanling) and 290 (mid-adulthood), we design and implement a computational pipeline that captures the network of structural similarity (MIND, morphometric inverse divergence) between each of 53 distinct cortical areas. We first characterized the normative development of the network in a cohort of rats undergoing typical development (N=47), and then contrasted these findings with a cohort exposed to early life stress (ELS, N=40).

Using high-throughput sequencing (HTS) and headspace solid-phase microextraction, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) was used to investigate microbial diversity and volatile compound profiles at different fermentation stages. Spearman correlation analysis was employed to identify potential associations between microbial genera and flavor compounds.

Gene transcription is governed by a complex regulatory system involving changes in chromatin structure, the action of transcription factors, and the activation of -regulatory elements. Postharvest fruits are threatened by , a leading causal agent of blue mold disease and one of the most economically significant postharvest pathogens worldwide. However, information on its transcription regulatory mechanism is lagging.

The impact of obesity on heart rate variability (HRV) and ventricular repolarization, both vital indicators of cardiovascular health, is the focus of this review. Obesity, measured by BMI, waist circumference, and waist-to-hip ratio, significantly increases cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk due to structural and autonomic heart changes. Findings show that obese individuals exhibit prolonged QT and Tpeak-to-Tend (Tpe) intervals, suggesting delayed ventricular recovery and greater arrhythmia risk.
