This study aimed to introduce the clinical outcomes of conservative surgery for diffuse uterine leiomyomatosis, which also included the specialized surgical technique. All patients with diffuse uterine leiomyomatosis underwent conservative surgery such as transient occlusion of the uterine arteries (TOUA) adenomyomectomy. All 17 surgeries were performed by a single surgeon between 2018 and 2021.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines have been widely administered throughout the global community to minimize the morbidity and mortality caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although generally well-tolerated, these vaccines have generated some unwanted consequences, including thrombosis and menstrual irregularities. The effect of vaccination on female reproductive function has also been questioned.

Background And Objective: Owing to the increasing trend of preserving fertility in adenomyomectomy, the need for laparoscopic adenomyomectomy has increased. This study aimed to introduce a new surgical technique, an advanced laparoscopic adenomyomectomy technique, and to evaluate its efficacy, benefits, and safety in focal uterine adenomyosis.
Methods: From February 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020, 47 patients who underwent laparoscopic adenomyomectomy using the new surgical technique were enrolled in the study.

The most common effects reported by the Italian Medicine Agency following administration of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine are myalgia, soreness to the arm of inoculation, fever, and asthenia. To date, there are no specific and official reports registered by the Italian Medicine Agency on possible alterations of the menstrual cycle, or of the female reproductive system, following the vaccine. Actually, clinical experience showed a spread of transient adverse drug reactions of the menstrual cycle, following the administration of all COVID-19 vaccine types, both mRNA and Adenovirus vectored ones.

Unlabelled: Patients with severe iron deficiency, malabsorption or intolerance to oral iron are frequently treated with intravenous iron replacement. We report the case of a 42-year-old woman with non-erosive oligoarticular arthritis with antiparietal cell antibodies and iron deficiency anemia secondary to menorrhagia and unresponsive to oral iron preparations. She was treated with an intravenous infusion of ferric gluconate.
