This study assessed the frequency with which the marital and family therapy journal literature focused on problems associated with aging in a family context. Content analysis was used to assess the prevalence of later life family concerns in two leading journals, Family Process and the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, during a 10-year period (1976-1985). Results indicate that neither journal covered later life family issues to any appreciable degree. It is concluded that elders in marital and family relationships constitute a new frontier for the extension and elaboration of family therapy.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the rapid implementation of telemedicine for HIV care at federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the United States. We sought to understand use of telemedicine (telephone and video) at two FQHCs in Los Angeles, and the client attitudes towards and experiences with telemedicine as part of future HIV care.
Methods: We conducted surveys with 271 people living with HIV (PLHIV), with questions covering sociodemographic factors, telemedicine attitudes and experiences, technological literacy, and access to technological resources and privacy.

Background: Appetite-regulating hormones are implicated in anorexia nervosa (AN) pathophysiology, however, data are limited for appetite-regulating hormones across the AN weight spectrum. We aimed to investigate fasting and post-prandial concentrations of appetite-regulating hormones - peptide YY (PYY), cholecystokinin (CCK), and ghrelin - among adolescent and young adult females across the AN weight spectrum, specifically those with AN and Atypical AN, and healthy controls (HC).
Methods: Participants (N = 95; ages 11-22 years) included 33 with AN, 25 with Atypical AN, and 37 HC.
