Thirty patients receiving 53 combined crowns with occlusal rest are described. The results are presented in tables. Poor marginal contact was found in about 20% and only 25% of the crowns penetrated into the gingival pouch at a distance over 0.6 mm.

Purpose: to characterize mastication and electrical activation of the masseter and anterior temporalis muscles in children and adolescents with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), and relate results to guided occlusion and occlusal interference.
Methods: This observational, analytical cross-sectional study included 22 subjects divided into mild OI (MOI) (type 1) (n=15) and moderate-to-severe OI (MSOI) (types 3, 4, and 5) (n=7) groups. The Orofacial Myofunctional Evaluation with Scores (OMES) form was used to evaluate the clinical aspects of mastication.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the feasibility and reliability of measuring the vertical dimension of occlusion/rest (OVD/RVD) on 3D facial scans of edentulous patients.
Methods: Nineteen edentulous participants rehabilitated with complete removable dental prostheses (CDs) participated in this study. Analog measurements (control) were obtained directly on the face for each participant with the jaws positioned at the rest position (without CDs, RVD) and at centric occlusion (with dentures, OVD), between the facial landmarks: Glabella (G) and Soft Pogonion (SP), Pronasale (PN) and SP, and Subnasale (SN) and SP.

Background: Current research relates jaw clenching to athletic performance, in terms of force and agility. However, the impact of jaw clenching on sports accuracy is unclear.
Objectives: To analyse the impact of jaw position and chewing type on free-throw accuracy and electromyographic (EMG) activity of masticatory muscles during free-throws.

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of repetitive removal/insertion and a load equivalent to the occlusal force on the retentive force of rest plate-I bar (RPI) clasps fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) on powder bed fusion. RPI clasp fabricated by SLM and casting were evaluated to the retentive force by repetitive removal/insertion (SLM-RI and Cast-RI), and the retentive force of RPI clasp by SLM was also evaluated by repetitive removal/insertion under load (SLM-L). SLM-RI group was kept superior retentive force during repetitive removal/insertion than Cast-RI group.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate microstrains around two non-parallel implant-supported prostheses and different abutment connections and positions under vertical static load using strain gauges.
Materials And Methods: 4 models simulating the mandibular unilateral free-end were fabricated. 8 implants (4.
