Purpose: This study aimed to assess the relationship between kinetics of bladder sensations perception, detrusor overactivity (DO), and severity of overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms in patients with multiple sclerosis (PwMS).
Methods: All PwMS who underwent urodynamic assessment including three cystometries (20mL/min, 100mL/min, and 100mL/min with 4°C fluid) between June 2020 and October 2022 were included in this retrospective study. Data collected were bladder diaries, symptoms assessed with Urinary Symptom Profile (USP), bladder sensations with first desire to void (FDV) and strong desire to void (SDV) during the 20mL/min cystometry, and presence of DO.

: Postsurgical lower urinary tract dysfunction (LUTD) is a common problem following deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) resection. The condition may be caused either by surgically induced damage to the bladder innervation or by pre-existing endometriosis-associated nerve damage. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of preoperative and postoperative multichannel urodynamic testing (UD) in identifying pre-existing or surgically induced LUTD among patients with DIE.

Background: The purpose of this article was to assess the recoverability of bladder, in a subset of patients with uremia, planned for live-donor kidney transplantation.
Methods: Patients referred to the Voiding Dysfunction Unit for evaluation, prior to transplantation, were included in this study during the period 2004 to 2008 in a single institution with a track record in live-donor transplantation. Defunctionalized bladder was defined as patients with complete anuria or oliguria for at least 6 months.

Introduction: Bladder dysfunction and associated complications of the urinary system negatively impact the quality of life in children living with spinal cord injury (SCI). Pediatric lower urinary tract deficits include bladder over-activity, inefficient emptying, decreased compliance, and incontinence. Recent evidence in adults with SCI indicates significant improvements in bladder capacity and detrusor pressure following participation in an activity-based recovery locomotor training (ABR-LT) rehabilitative program.
