Background: Osteosarcoma is the most common malignant bone tumour with limited treatment options and poor outcomes in advanced metastatic cases. Current immunotherapies show limited efficacy, highlighting the need for novel therapeutic approaches. Systemic immune activation by Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) immunostimulants has shown great promise; however, current TLR4 agonists' toxicity hinders this systemic approach in patients with osteosarcoma.

Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate (VC-IP) is a novel form of ascorbic acid characterized by reduced water solubility due to complete acylation with palmitate. This study investigated the potential cosmetic application of VC-IP when encapsulated in lyotropic liquid crystal nanoparticles (VC-IP LCNPs) by using a high-pressure homogenization (HPH) method. The particle size, zeta potential, and polydispersity index (PDI) of the obtained VC-IP LCNPs were determined as 158.

Unlabelled: Bioluminescence imaging (BLI) using engineered bioluminescent viruses has emerged as a powerful tool for real-time, noninvasive monitoring of viral replication in living animals. While traditional luciferase-based systems, such as firefly luciferase, have been widely used, the NanoLuc luciferase system offers distinct advantages, including its significantly smaller gene size, increased brightness, and independence from ATP as a cofactor, allowing for extracellular detection. However, the utility of NanoLuc has been limited by its traditional substrate, furimazine, which exhibits poor water solubility and potential cytotoxicity.

Conventional approaches require manual titration of sample pH to collect a series of NMR spectra at different pH values. This requires extensive sample handling and often results in significant sample loss, leading to reduced signal or the need to prepare additional samples.
