Tissue expanders, which are used to enlarge the soft tissue of the scalp, eroded the outer table of the skull as well as a portion of the inner table. The patient in this case study is documented with photographs, and the entity of pressure due to skin expanders is discussed. A growing list of complications makes it important to be aware of the possible pitfalls of expanders and to discuss them with patients and/or their families, particularly when tissue expanders are used in children.

Objective: To explore the application value of dual chamber round tissue expander in immediate breast reconstruction.
Methods: Sixteen patients, who had been provided immediate tissue expander/implant two-stage breast reconstruction using dual chamber round tissue expander in our hospital from March 2022 to October 2023, were involved in this study, and the relevant information was analyzed retrospectively. The overall design of the expander is a round shape, consisting of two equally divided semi-circular chambers.

Objective: This study aims to compare the postoperative thoracic deformity and scar aesthetic outcomes of auricular reconstruction between the conventional large-incision technique and small-incision technique with perichondrium preservation for costal cartilage harvesting.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 134 patients who underwent auricular reconstruction using tissue expanders and autologous costal cartilage harvested from the right chest wall between January 2021 and September 2023. Patients were divided into two groups according to the harvesting technique: the traditional large-incision group (n = 64) and the small-incision group with perichondrium preservation (n = 70).
