Objectives: To evaluate the role of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the final treatment plan and its impact on survival in bladder cancer patients who were diagnosed with variant histology in the radical cystectomy specimen and whose diagnostic accuracy was achieved with the previous transurethral resection of the bladder specimen.
Methods: In this retrospective multicenter study, data from 221 patients across 9 centers were analyzed between January 2012 and January 2022. The primary endpoint was overall, cancer-specific, recurrence-free, and metastasis-free survival rates among patients with and without neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and the secondary endpoint was to identify independent predictors of survival.

Background: The defining characteristic of posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a reversible, predominantly vasogenic edema of the white matter, particularly affecting the parenchyma supplied by the posterior circulation. PRES is most commonly associated with hypertension. We present a case series of seven normotensive patients diagnosed with cancer who had posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome.

Chemotherapic regimens are effective when patients receive the optimal doses. Toxicities are common in overweight/obese patients but may occur also in normal weight counterparts.

Background: Previous studies mainly concentrate on neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) for delivery delay in FIGO Stage IB1-IIIB cervical cancer during pregnancy to prevent early preterm delivery while not affecting maternal outcome.
Case: Here, we described two pregnant patients with FIGO Stage IIIC cervical cancer about their diagnosis, treatment, and outcome. Both patients underwent cesarean delivery, left enlarged lymph node dissection, and longitudinal monitoring by circulating tumor DNA.
