Tension type headache (TTH) is a primary headache disorder considered common in children and adolescents. It remains debatable whether TTH and migraine are separate biological entities. This review summarizes the most recent literature of TTH with regards to children and adolescents. Further studies of TTH are needed to develop a biologically based classification system that may be facilitated through understanding changes in the developing brain during childhood and adolescence.

Gas foam injection offers a viable solution to challenges faced in oil reservoirs, yet ensuring optimal foamability and stability remains a pivotal hurdle in practical field operations. This study presents a novel synthesis procedure to create silica (SiO) Janus nanoparticles (JNPs) and examines their potential to enhance gas foam stability for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) applications. Two variations of SiO JNPs were synthesized via a masking procedure, employing oleic acid and ascorbic acid within a Pickering emulsion, marking a pioneering approach.

Background And Purpose: Perivascular adipose tissues (PVATs) play a critical role in modulating vascular homeostasis and protecting against cardiovascular dysfunction-mediated blood pressure dysregulation. We demonstrated that the activating transcription factor-3 (Atf3) gene in the PVAT is crucial for improving vascular wall tension abnormalities; however, its protective mechanism remains unclear. Herein, we aim to determine whether ATF3 regulates PVAT-derived relaxing factor (PVDRF) biosynthesis and if its secretion contributes to vasorelaxation.
