Mohs micrographic surgery of the lower eyelid poses a risk of ectropion. Even though the lower eyelid is a very frequent location for basal cell carcinoma, prevention techniques for ectropion after Mohs micrographic surgery have rarely been introduced. After Mohs micrographic surgery of the lower eyelid, the authors applied a barbed suture suspension technique for the prevention of lower eyelid ectropion. Following primary wound closure, barbed sutures were prepared by cutting one side of a 4-0 Prolene suture and applied around the lower eyelid. Sutures were maintained for 7 days and then removed. Evaluation 10 weeks after surgery found that ectropion had been minimized or prevented entirely.

Background: Involution or aging is the most common cause of lower eyelid entropion (in-turning of eyelid margin) in the elderly population. Various pathomechanisms have been postulated for its occurrence. Aging leads to laxity of tissues and loss of muscle tone.

Background: Facial aging involves multifactorial changes affecting the bone, superficial musculoaponeurotic system, fat pads, and skin, primarily manifesting as the downward displacement of these structures. The transtemporal endoscopic deep plane face lift (TEDPF) suggests a vertical lifting method, targeting these issues without a preauricular incision.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 140 patients (133 women and 7 men) 33-67 years of age who underwent TEDPF from February 2020 to March 2023.
Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare, low to intermediate-grade soft tissue sarcoma that presents significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. We report the case of a 40-year-old male patient who presented with a slow-growing, asymptomatic lesion on his forehead that had developed over two years. Clinical examination revealed a firm, non-tender multinodular mass measuring 5 x 3 cm in the supraorbital region.

Objective: A simple and minimally invasive combined procedure, including transconjunctival orbital fat removal and transcutaneous resected orbital fat injection, was performed based on the anatomical characteristics of the lower eyelids in our young Chinese patients. Our study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of this procedure in our study population.
Methods: In our retrospective study, a total of 183 consecutive patients underwent a combination of traditional transconjunctival blepharoplasty and nanofat grafting between February 2020 and June 2024.
