Primary breast Burkitt lymphoma is an aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and extremely rare. Burkitt lymphoma involving both breasts during pregnancy was a rare condition with fifteen cases reported in literature. We present a case of a 19-year-old 36 weeks pregnant woman who came for a check-up due to bilateral breast swelling.

A 19-year-old woman presented with multiple cortical and subcortical infarcts, arterial aneurysms, anaemia and hypertension. Further evaluation identified a systemic vasculopathy secondary to a deficiency of adenosine deaminase 2, a rare treatable monogenic disorder.

Primary intracranial sarcoma, -mutant, included as a new diagnostic entity in the 2021 WHO Classification of Central Nervous System Tumors, is a rare, but aggressive neoplasm generally identified in the supratentorial forebrain. The prognostic implications of these uncommon tumors and optimal treatment strategy remain unclear. A 19-year-old woman was found unresponsive after reporting a severe headache.

Microcytosis of red cells and mild anemia are common in thalassemia carriers but those phenotypes are not specific. It is really a challenge for clinical interpretation of those variants. Co-segregation with disease in affected family members or specific phenotypes such as the abnormal Hb H are very helpful to assess the pathogenicity of rare variants.

Douglas abscesses (DA) involving the ovaries and/or fallopian tubes and tubo-ovarian abscesses (TOA) constitute a very rare finding in virginal females. Underlying conditions are suspected to play a role in their development; often however, the exact pathomechanism remains hypothetical or unknown. We report the case of a 19-year-old virginal female who was referred to our outpatient clinic for further clarification of a 6-month ongoing secondary amenorrhea.
