Rotational analysis for the Doppler-free photoelectron spectrum of water using the spectator model.

A photoelectron spectrum of H(2)O has been recorded at a resolution of 2 meV under Doppler-free conditions. Complex rotational structures appear in the individual vibrational states of the electronic X̃(+ 2)B(1) and Ã(+ 2)A(2) states in H(2)O(+). The rotational structures are analyzed and well reproduced using a spectator orbital model developed for rotationally resolved photoelectron spectroscopy.

Two synchrotron-based studies on 4H-pyran-4-thione, photoelectron spectroscopy and vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) absorption spectra were performed. A highly resolved structure was observed in the photoelectron spectrum (PES), in contrast to an earlier PES study, where little structure was observed. Hematite (α-FeO) nanoparticles have been synthesized from waste source of iron which contains a prominent amount of iron (93.2 %) and investigated the effect of low temperature calcination. The two-step synthesis method involved preparing ferrous sulfate through acid leaching process followed by oxidation and calcination at temperatures ranging from 200 to 400 °C to produce the desired α-FeO in nano form.

We fabricated flexible, three-dimensional (3D) ordered silicon nanowire (SiNW) arrays decorated with high-density silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) for the sensitive and reproducible detection of pesticide residues. These sensors demonstrated a detection limit of 10 M for methyl parathion (MPT) on curved surfaces.
