We argue that the X(4260) enhancement contains a wealth of information on 1-- cc spectroscopy. We discuss the shape of the X(4260) observed in the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka-forbidden process e+e-→π+π-J/ψ, in particular, at and near vector charmonium resonances as well as open-charm threshold enhancements. The resulting very broad X(4260) structure does not seem to classify itself as a 1-- cc resonance, but its detailed shape allows us to identify new vector charmonium states with higher statistics than in open-charm decay. Here, we estimate the resonance parameters of the ψ(3D). Our approach also provides an explanation for the odd dip in the π+π-J/ψ data precisely at the ψ(4415) resonance.

Prediction of a Narrow Exotic Hadronic State with Quantum Numbers J^{PC}=0^{--}.

Lots of charmonium-like structures have been observed in the last two decades. Most of them have quantum numbers that can be formed by a pair of charm and anticharm quarks, thus it is difficult to unambiguously identify the exotic ones among them. In this Letter, by exploiting heavy quark spin symmetry, we present a robust prediction of the hadronic molecular scenario, where the ψ(4230), ψ(4360) and ψ(4415) are identified as DD[over ¯]_{1}, D^{*}D[over ¯]_{1}, and D^{*}D[over ¯]_{2}^{*} bound states, respectively.

The processes γγ → ωϕ, ϕϕ, and ωω are measured using an 870  fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider. Production of vector meson pairs is clearly observed and their cross sections are measured for masses that range from threshold to 4.0 GeV.

In CDF we have observed the reactions p + p[over] --> p + X + p[over], with X being a centrally produced J/psi, psi(2S), or chi_{c0}, and gammagamma-->micro;{+}micro;{-} in pp[over] collisions at sqrt[s] = 1.96 TeV. The event signature requires two oppositely charged central muons, and either no other particles or one additional photon detected.

Two-photon decays of charmonia from lattice QCD.

Phys Rev Lett

We make the first calculation in lattice QCD of two-photon decays of mesons. Working in the charmonium sector, using the Lehmann-Symanzik-Zimmermann reduction to relate a photon to a sum of hadronic vector eigenstates, we compute form factors in both the spacelike and timelike domains for the transitions eta c --> gamma*gamma* and chi(c0) --> gamma*gamma*. At the on-shell point, we find approximate agreement with experimental world-average values.
