In the Young's double slit experiment, the spatial shift of the interference pattern projected onto a screen is directly related to the phase difference between the fields diffracted by the two slits. We apply this property to fields emitted by nonlinear processes and thus demonstrate background-free coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering microscopy near an axial interface between a resonant and a nonresonant medium. This method is relevant to remove the nonresonant background in other coherent resonant processes.

Metal-nonaqueous solution interfaces, a key to many electrochemical technologies, including lithium metal batteries, are much less understood than their aqueous counterparts. Herein, on several metal-nonaqueous solution interfaces, we observe capacitances that are 2 orders of magnitude lower than the usual double-layer capacitance. Combining electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and physical modeling, we ascribe the ultralow capacitance to an interfacial layer of 10-100 nm above the metal surface.

The objective of this research is to develop a natural macromolecules-based smart double-layer film using carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) film containing pomegranate peel anthocyanins (PPA) and cellulose acetate nanofibers (CANFs) with Artemisia sieberi Besser essential oil-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (ABNLCs). Based on the performance as a color indicator, and other studied properties, the CMC/PPA 8 % film was selected as the optimized film. The double-layer film was constructed by electrospinning the CANFs containing ABNLCs on the optimized CMC film.

Background: The comparative benefits and harms of available interventions for ADHD in adults remain unclear. We aimed to address these important knowledge gaps.
Methods: In this systematic review and component network meta-analysis (NMA), we searched multiple databases for published and unpublished randomised controlled trials (RCTs) investigating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for ADHD in adults from database inception to Sept 6, 2023.

Background/objectives: Sleep problems are frequently experienced and play an important role in inflammation and disease risk. US Montmorency tart cherries (MTC) improve sleep outcomes in previous studies, but studies in individuals with overweight and obesity are lacking.
Methods: A total of 34 individuals with sleep issues and overweight or obesity (BMI: 32.

In this study, micromechanical analysis will be performed to derive explicit solutions of the macroscopic elastic moduli and thermal expansion coefficient for composite materials, where spheroidal-coated fillers are oriented randomly in the material. This analysis is carried out by combining the double inclusion method with the self-consistent method or the Mori-Tanaka theorem. Furthermore, using these solutions, explicit solutions of the macroscopic elastic moduli and thermal expansion coefficient are also derived for composite materials containing various types of coated fillers with different physical properties and shapes.
