A total of 20 weaned rabbits (33 days old) (10 per treatment) were fed one of two diets that included 150 g of sunflower meal (SF)/kg of diet or 120 g of whole white lupin (WL)/kg of diet for 42 days. The WL diet contained less saturated fatty acids (SFA) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) but more monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) than the SF diet. The WL diet significantly decreased SFA and PUFA content, as well as the PUFA n-6/PUFA n-3 ratio and saturation, atherogenic and thrombogenic indexes in hind leg meat. The fatty acid composition in perirenal fat was similar to that of hind leg meat; however, significantly higher MUFA levels were observed in rabbits fed the WL diet. Thus, feeding rabbits the WL diet affected the fatty acid profile of hind leg meat and perirenal fat in a favourable manner.

Objectives: The present study aimed to compare the tumor growth delay between conventional radiotherapy (CRT) and the spatially fractionated modalities of microbeam radiation therapy (MRT) and minibeam radiation therapy (MBRT). In addition, we also determined the influence of beam width and the peak-to-valley dose ratio (PVDR) on tumor regrowth.
Methods: A549, a human non-small-cell lung cancer cell line, was implanted subcutaneously into the hind leg of female CD1 mice.

With the increasing importance of meat quality inspection, traditional manual evaluation methods face challenges in terms of efficiency and accuracy. To improve the precision and efficiency of pork quality assessment, an automated detection method based on computer vision technology is proposed for evaluating different parts and freshness of pork. First, high-resolution cameras were used to capture image data of Jinfen white pigs, covering three pork cuts-hind leg, loin, and belly-across three different collection times.

Welfare studies are increasingly involving the application of Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) sensors, rather than the use of animal-based indicators directly assessed. PLF technology has the advantage to constantly monitor behavior over a long period of time, thus enabling the assessor to identify changes in animal time budgets in real-time. In calves, lying behavior is essential: new-borns have been reported to spend 70-80% of their daily time lying.

Background: Though ancient Greece preserves many pictures of combat sports, there is limited research in terms of biomechanical analysis of their sports. This research aimed to investigate the Pankration postures of ancient Greek athletics, expecting to bridge the gap between historical sports practices and contemporary biomechanical applications.
Methods: This study employed computer vision (OpenPose) to analyze two images, one as readiness and another as kicking postures, from ancient Greek Pankration by constructing a static multi-segmental model.

Muscle atrophy, an age-related condition, presents a growing healthcare concern within the context of global population aging. While studies have investigated for its potential antifatigue properties, reports on its active components remain limited. This study evaluated the efficacy of mycelium extract on muscle health, utilizing a 1:1 water-ethanol preparation administered to C57BL/6 mice exhibiting acute hind leg atrophy.
