A man, aged 65 years, presented with frequent episodes of hypoglycemia and unconsciousness. Hypoglycemia was accompanied by undetectable serum insulin and C-peptide levels and a high serum insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-II level. He was found to have a retroperitoneal solitary fibrous tumor. He underwent successful resection of the tumor and had no hypoglycemic episodes after the operation. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed positive immunostaining for IGF-II in tumor cells. The presence of the high-molecular-weight form of IGF-II in the patient's serum was confirmed by immunoblotting, which suggests that his hypoglycemia was due to an increase in the plasma level of IGF-II secreted by the tumor.

Solitary fibrous tumours (SFTs) are rare soft tissue masses that are often clinically silent until they cause mass effect. A paraneoplastic syndrome manifesting as persistent hypoglycaemia, termed Doege-Potter syndrome (DPS), can be associated with these lesions. Surgical treatment is recommended for the management of these tumours.

Purpose: Exploring the computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET)/CT Multimodal Imaging Characteristics of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT) to enhance the diagnostic proficiency of this condition.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on clinical data and multimodal imaging manifestations (CT, MRI, FDG-PET/CT) of eight cases of DSRCT. These findings were systematically compared with pathological results to succinctly summarize imaging features and elucidate their associations with both clinical and pathological characteristics.

Background: The cure for patients with primary hyperaldosteronism (PHA) secondary to solitary adrenal adenoma is adrenalectomy. We investigated the impact of size of Conns' tumour on hypertension resolution in a multi-ethnic South East Asian Cohort.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study of patients who underwent surgery for PHA between January 2010 to December 2022 was performed.

Castleman's disease (CD) is characterised by benign lymphoepithelial proliferation and is a peculiar form of angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia rather than a neoplasm or a hamartoma. CD is broadly classified as unicentric CD (UCD) and multicentric CD. In the unicentric variant, patients have localised disease affecting only a single lymph node or a group of adjacent nodes in a single region, which clinically presents as an enlarging mass without any other significant symptoms.
