Importance: Sexual dysfunction in individuals suffering from depression may be both a symptom of the disorder and a side effect of antidepressants. To date, and to our knowledge, no randomized controlled trials have demonstrated the effectiveness of acupressure on sexual function in women of reproductive age who take antidepressants.
Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effect of acupressure on sexual function in women of reproductive age taking Selective Serotonin Reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

Some prominent contemporary acupuncture pundits have published assertions that when the was written 2000+ years ago, acupuncture clinicians had no knowledge of anatomy and "limited" clinical knowledge. Historical records as well as medical literature published over the past hundred years evidence those claims are grossly inaccurate. Those erroneous reports have likely contributed to the negative views of acupuncture that continue to be promulgated in the Western (allopathic) medical literature by prominent academic physicians and researchers: specifically, that acupuncture lacks a proper scientific basis, and that its clinical benefits most likely result from a potent ("enhanced") placebo effect.

Oxygen saturation is a crucial indicator in the management of various diseases and in preoperative diagnosis, and the detection of oxygen content is valuable in guiding clinical treatment. However, as the classical and dominant oxygen detection strategies, current photoelectric oximeters and electrochemical-based blood gas analyzers often suffer from significant interindividual variation and poor compliance, respectively. In recent years, wearable microneedles (MNs) for analyzing biomarkers in interstitial fluid (ISF) have received great attention and recognition mainly for the reason that the content of the substances distributed in ISF has a better correlation with that in blood circulation compared with other body fluids such as sweat and saliva.

Life is a dynamic and systematic whole, with organs interacting with each other. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) discusses the interaction between human tissue and organs through the Zangfu relations, while modern biological medicine clarifies physiological and pathological relationships through "organ crosstalk". From the perspective of "organ crosstalk", this article discussed the five classical Zangfu relations(lungs and large intestine, heart and small intestine, spleen and stomach, liver and gallbladder, and kidney and bladder) in TCM and their extension.

The TRPM8 channel, a temperature-sensitive ion channel, plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, particularly in the modulation of inflammation and nociception. Although electroacupuncture (EA) is a recognized analgesic treatment for pain conditions, its interaction with TRPM8 remains underexplored. This study aims to determine TRPM8's role in EA-induced analgesia using a murine model of inflammatory pain.
