Aim: To determine the results of radioembolization transarterial (TARE), in the treatment of liver tumors, a retrospective evaluation was performed after 112 TARE with Y-microspheres administered in 82 patients in a single hospital, analyzing efficacy and safety, after a follow-up greater than or equal to 1 year post-TARE in all patients, and evaluating the possible relationship between treatment response and patient survival.
Material And Methods: We have administered 57 single TARE and 55 multiple TARE in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (53), liver metastases (25) and cholangiocarcinoma (4), with prior multidisciplinary evaluation, clinical, angiographic and gammagraphic (planar/SPECT/SPECT-CT with Tc-MAA), multicompartment model (MIRD equations), post-TARE screening (planar/SPECT/SPECT-CT), clinical and radiological follow-up, tumor response evaluation (mRECIST criteria) and Kaplan-Meier analysis to determine progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).
Results: Therapeutic intention was palliative (82%) and as bridge to liver transplantation/surgical resection (17%).

Objectives: To describe the available techniques to prevent and treat complications related with surgery involving lymphatic nodes and drainage: lymphorrea, lymphocele and lymphedema.
Methods: Bibliographic review and personal experience communication of different image-assisted techniques in the prevention and management of lymphatic related complications.
Results: We describe the conventional lymphography with ethiodized oil contrast (lipiodol) by lymphatic catheterization and intranodal percutaneous puncture used in diagnostics and interventional radiology; the gammagraphic lymphography with radioactive isotopes for diagnostic use; and the utilization of colorants/dyes (patent blue, V-blue, methylene blue, indocyanine green) for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Objectives: Metastatic affectation of lymph node is the main prognostic factor in localized lung cancer. A pathologic study of the obtained samples, even after adequate lymphadenectomy, showed tumor relapses for 20% of stage I patients after oncological curative surgery. We evaluated the prognostic value of molecular micrometastasis in the sentinel lymph node of patients with early-stage lung cancer.

SAPHO syndrome was proposed in the late 80s in order to group different osteoarticular manifestations with specific radiological findings such as the hyperostosis of the front part of the chest wall. Prevalence, etiology and pathogenesis of the disease are unknown, while diagnosis is made both clinically and by the specific gammagraphic image of «bull horn» in the sternoclavicular joint. The following case of a 64-year-old woman diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma of the right breast pT1N0Mx is reported.
