The depth of cure of three light-cured glass-ionomer cements was examined immediately after polymerization under the curing light and 12 hours after polymerization. The duration of illumination was also varied among groups to determine its effect on the depth of cure. Light-Cured Zionomer showed a greater immediate depth of cure than did either Vitrabond or XR Ionomer. All three materials demonstrated greater depth of cure 12 hours after application of the light source, indicating that they possess dual-curing characteristics. Increasing the duration of illumination from 30 to 60 seconds significantly (P less than .05) increased the depth of cure for all three materials.

Direct pacing of the mid myocardium where re-entry originates can be used to prevent ventricular arrhythmias and circumvent the need for painful defibrillation or cardiac ablation. The lack of socio-behavioral research on stress and psychosocial experiences among research participants who undergo analytical treatment interruption (ATI) in HIV cure studies underscores a critical gap in cure science. Existing literature acknowledges mixed and potentially adverse mental health impacts of ATIs among trial participants, but empirical insights before, during, and after clinical studies are scarce. We used longitudinal in-depth interviews with 11 participants in HIV cure-related research to explore their experiences with stress, coping, and psychological well-being before, during, and after an ATI.
