Differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA) is used frequently as a treatment for problem behavior. Previous studies on treatment integrity failures during DRA suggest that the intervention is robust, but research has not yet investigated the effects of different types of integrity failures. We examined the effects of two types of integrity failures on DRA, starting with a human operant procedure and extending the results to children with disabilities in a school setting. Human operant results (Experiment 1) showed that conditions involving reinforcement for problem behavior were more detrimental than failing to reinforce appropriate behavior alone, and that condition order affected the results. Experiments 2 and 3 replicated the effects of combined errors and sequence effects during actual treatment implementation.

Identifying novel targets for molecular radiosensitization is critical for improving the efficacy of colorectal cancer (CRC) radiotherapy. Alpha-thalassemia/mental retardation X-linked (ATRX), a member of the SWI/SNF-like chromatin remodeling protein family, functions in the maintenance of genomic integrity and the regulation of apoptosis and senescence. However, whether ATRX is directly involved in the radiosensitivity of CRC remains unclear.

Complex wound closure scenarios necessitate the development of advanced wound dressings that can effectively address the challenges of filling irregularly shaped wounds and managing fatigue failures encountered in daily patient activities. To tackle these issues, we develop a multifunctional hydrogel from natural polysaccharides and polypeptides with injectability and self-healing properties for promoting full-time and multipurpose wound healing. Synthesized through dynamic Schiff base linkages between oxidized hyaluronic acid (OHA), ε-polylysine (ε-PL), and quaternized chitosan (QCS), the OHA/ε-PL/QCS hydrogel can gel rapidly within 50 s.

In the field of gun launched missile extended range rocket, the propellant grain in the rocket needs to withstand significant launch loads during their firing phase, and also bear the high pressure caused by ignition, and the impact of launch overloads and ignition shocks on the structural integrity of propellants becomes very important. So this work investigated the dynamic initiation fracture toughness of the composite modified double-base (CMDB) propellant by both experiments and numerical simulations. The dynamic mechanical properties test of the cracked straight through flattened Brazilian disc (CSTFBD) specimens were conducted using a modified Split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB).

Rolling bearings of the vibration exciter are prone to failure due to long-term high amplitude alternating impact loads, causing economic losses and threatening production safety. The heavy environmental noise during the operation of the vibration exciter and the high vibration level generated by the eccentric block make the weak bearing fault features submerged and difficult to extract. Teager-Kaiser energy operator is a popular method for extracting bearing fault features.
