The paper is a review of the literature data and original clinical experience on the contribution of pathomorphosis to current diagnosis of tuberculosis and nonspecific pulmonary diseases. the analysis of 1958 case histories elucidated relevant nosological composition of the lung lesions, frequency and causes of misdiagnosis. It is believed that pathomorphosis can noticeably facilitate differential diagnosis in lung diseases even at early outpatient stage.
