Introduction: Schwannomas are tumors of neurogenic origin, that arise from Schwann cells which surround peripheral, cranial and autonomic nerves. Schwannomas account for only 5% of all benign soft tissue tumors, and 25-45% of extracranial schwannomas are present in the head and neck region. They are usually classified according to the nerve of origin and the site within the head and neck.

Case Report: We presented extremely rare extracranial localizations of schwannomas and discussed about diagnosis and management of these tumors.

Conclusion: Schwannomas are slow-growing tumors and late symptoms appearance may cause a delay in diagnosis and treatment of patients with these tumors. An appropriate diagnostic protocol is indispensable tool in performing a differential diagnosis of malignant from benign lesions. Choice of surgical approach depends on schwannomas localization.

Metastasis-directed therapy (MDT) for oligometastatic breast cancer (≤ 5 metastases) has shown little effect in specific scenarios of randomized trials. Therefore, we aimed to assess outcomes after metastasis-directed stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) in various clinical scenarios. We conducted an international retrospective cohort study in thirteen centers including breast cancer patients receiving SRT to any metastatic site.

Background: Extracranial carotid artery aneurysm (ExCAA) is a very rare pathology. However, due to local compression symptoms, risk of CNS ischemia, and the potential risk of rupture, it constitutes a significant clinical problem. The small number of cases, substantial differences in etiology and morphology, and various treatment methods of ExCAA disturb the analysis of this pathology.

Background: The use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) to definitively treat oligometastases in prostate cancer has drawn large clinical and research interests within radiation oncology. However, the evidence is considered in its early stages and there is currently no systematic review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in this field. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SBRT as metastasis-directed therapy (MDT) in oligometastatic prostate cancer (OMPC) compared to no MDT reported in RCTs.

Background: Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) account for <3% of vascular anomalies. This study aims to present the 10-year experience of a German vascular anomaly center (VAC) with AVMs and evaluate diagnostic imaging for treatment-relevant information for minimally invasive therapy planning.

Material And Methods: A retrospective study including patients from the VAC database with AVMs was conducted.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of linear accelerator-based fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy (LINAC-FSRT) in patients with brain metastases (BM).

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 214 patients treated with LINAC-FSRT, categorized based on biologically effective dose (BED10, / = 10) into two groups (≤55 Gy, >55 Gy). Stratified analyses were conducted based on targeted therapy to compare survival outcomes.
