In the last decades, the world population and demand for any kind of product have grown exponentially. The rhythm of production to satisfy the request of the population has become unsustainable and the concept of the linear economy, introduced after the Industrial Revolution, has been replaced by a new economic approach, the circular economy. In this new economic model, the concept of "the end of life" is substituted by the concept of restoration, providing a new life to many industrial wastes.

Liquid metals (such as gallium or Ga) exist in liquid states under ambient conditions and are hardly sculpted in chiral structures. Herein, through electron-beam evaporation of Ga, hemispherical achiral Ga nanoparticles (NPs) are randomly immobilized along helical surfaces of SiO nanohelices (NHs), functioning as a chiral template. Helical assembly of Ga NPs shows chiroplasmonic optical activity owing to collective plasmon-plasmon interactions, which can be tuned as a function of a helical SiO pitch (P) and the amount of Ga evaporated.

Gerontological research has accelerated dramatically in the last few decades. However, despite increased public interest, federal funding, an army of researchers, and many notable discoveries and high-impact publications, the goal of achieving even a modest extension of human lifespan seems to be as far away as ever or, at best, remains within the realm of lifestyle and diet optimization efforts. Humanity has already benefited from a lifespan revolution in the first half of the 20th Century, which was brought about by improved sanitation and hygiene, clean water, and our successful war on infectious diseases.

The concept of has been taking a new form where scientists and researchers are in pursuance of regenerative medicine. Until now, doctors have "reacted" to disease by treating the symptoms; however, modern medicine is transforming toward regeneration rather than reactive treatment, which is where stem cell therapy comes into the play-the concept of replacing damaged cells with brand new cells that perform the same function better. Stem cell treatment is currently being used to treat autoimmune, inflammatory, neurological, orthopedic, and traumatic disorders, with various research being undertaken for a wide range of diseases.

A nano-revolution based on the green synthesis of nanomaterials could affect all areas of human life, and nanotechnology represents a propitious platform for various biomedical applications. During the synthesis of nanoparticles, various factors can control their physiognomies and clinical activities. Light is one of the major physical factors that can play an important role in tuning/refining the properties of nanoparticles.
