Chondromyxoid fibroma (CMF) in the foot is a rare condition. We report a case of CMF in a 7-year-old girl, affecting the distal phalanx of the great toe. Radiographs revealed a lytic lesion involving the entire distal phalanx, with destruction of both the medial and lateral cortices, while the articular surfaces remained intact.

According to WHO, dengue fever (DF) is currently endemic to more than 100 countries in various regions of Africa, America, and Asia; outbreaks have been reported in Europe. In the Russian Federation, there is a much smaller proportion of children among those infected due to the imported nature of the infection. We described a clinical case of imported dengue fever in an adolescent girl in Moscow after a 5-day vacation.

Traditionally, patients with rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), were considered off-limits for joint-sparing surgery. In the present study, we report bilateral knee joints of psoriatic arthritis coexisting with osteoarthritis, with good, albeit short-term, results. 62-year-old woman was treated for psoriatic arthritis with a biologic (adalimumab).

Pars fractures are a common cause of lower back pain, especially among young individuals. Although computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning are commonly used in developed regions, traditional radiography remains the main diagnostic method in many developing countries. This study assessed whether the standard radiographic angles suggested in textbooks are optimal for an Asian population since Asian groups have lower lumbar lordosis.

Objective: Reference intervals for hematologic and clinical chemistry values are useful when diagnosing a pathologic condition in animals. This study establishes relevant reference intervals for six species of wild birds that are frequently rescued at wildlife rescue centers in the Republic of Korea.

Methods: Forty-two Eurasian eagle owls (), 34 Oriental turtle doves (), 73 domestic pigeons (), 27 brown hawk-owls (), 76 common kestrels (), and 25 Eurasian magpies () were included in this study.
