Marine plastic pollution has been a public concern for many decades; however, transport processes of heavy microplastics to the seafloor have long been overlooked given the difficulties in sampling and modeling. The distribution of heavy microplastic deposition on the seafloor in the North Pacific for 65 years since 1951, was estimated using a particle tracking model with 577,143,840 particles. The model revealed that 22 % of heavy microplastics were deposited over 100 km offshore from their release locations.

Introduction: Three-dimensional (3D) maps are useful for premature ventricular contraction (PVC) ablation. However, positional information changes compared with sinus rhythm when PVCs appear, rendering ablation difficult. We aimed to understand the spatial displacement characteristics of PVC ablation in 3D maps and the therapeutic effect after correction using the LAT-Hybrid function.

The extensive use of antibiotics has led to their frequent detection as residues in the environment. However, monitoring of their levels in groundwater and the associated ecological and health risks remains limited, and the impact of river pollution on groundwater is still unclear. This study focused on the highly urbanized Maozhou River and its groundwater.
