Purpose Of Review: Peyronie's disease characterizes a condition in which there is angular curvature of the penis. Ion channels, as functional molecules that regulate the flow of ions across cell membranes, have emerged as a promising target in cancer therapy due to their pivotal roles in cell proliferation, metastasis, apoptosis, drug resistance, and so on. Recently, increasing evidence suggests that dysregulation of ion channels is a common characteristic of cancer cells, contributing to their survival and the resistance to conventional therapies. For example, the aberrant expression of sodium (Na) and potassium ion (K) channels is significantly correlated with the sensitivity of chemotherapy drugs.

Recently, members of a unique species of non-coding RNA, known as transfer RNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs) have been reported to serve multiple molecular functions, including in cells that mediate immunity. Because of their low molecular weights, tsRNAs were previously difficult to detect and were thus overlooked, until now. In this review, we delve into the biogenesis of tsRNAs and their diverse biological functions, ranging from transcriptional regulation to modulation of mRNA translation.

Unlabelled: Introduction y objectives: Tako-tsubo syndrome (TTS) is a cardiac condition that mimics acute coronary syndrome, characterized by transient left ventricular dysfunction in the absence of culprit coronary artery stenosis. Although its etiology remains unknown, reversible microvascular dysfunction secondary to an adrenergic surge is thought to play a role. Treatment is empirical, although most patients receive beta-blockers (BB) in clinical practice.

Background: Early identification and intervention for mental health (MH) problems in childhood offers lifelong benefits. Many children with MH problems do not receive appropriate help. To address this need, an online universal MH screening tool, the Growing Minds Check-In for parents/caregivers (GMCI-P), was developed to provide feedback to parents on their children's MH, identify children at risk of MH problems, and link parents to evidence-based online programs/information, with the goal of facilitating parent help-seeking, and ultimately reducing the prevalence of child MH problems.
