The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship of oestradiol level on the day of hCG (peak E2)/oocyte ratio and the outcome of ART cycles. Of the patients who underwent IVF-ET, 600 normal and high responders to the first cycle of COH with gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH)-agonist were included in the study. Patients were designated into three groups based on peak E2/oocyte ratio (Group A: <100 pg/ml per oocyte, Group B: 100-200 pg/ml per oocyte, Group C: >200 pg/ml per oocyte). A comparison among groups was made regarding ovarian stimulation characteristics, fertilisation, implantation and pregnancy rates. After the division based on E2/oocyte ratio, in Group C, the number of oocytes retrieved, 2PN and M2 oocyte were statistically lower than both of the other two groups (p = 0.001, 0.001, 0.001, 0.045). HCG day E2 level was significantly different in all groups (p = 0.001), and fertilisation rate was meaningfully highest in Group C and lowest in Group A (p = 0.001). No difference existed among the three groups with respect to the number of embryos transferred and implantation rates. However, clinical pregnancy rate was significantly lower in Group A than others (p = 0.04). In ART cycles suppressed by GnRH-agonist, IVF outcomes are lower in patients with an E2/oocyte proportion of <100 pg/ml per oocyte.

Background: The aim of this study was to assess the impact of total serum E2 on the day of human chronic gonadotropin (hCG) administration and the serum E2 per oocyte ratio on the outcomes of assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles.
Methods: A total of 205 women were categorized into 3 groups according to the serum E2 levels: 1: ≤1500 ; 2: 1500-3000 ; 3: >3000 . Another categorization included 3 groups according to E2/oocyte ratio: A: ≤150 per oocyte; B: 150-200 per oocyte; and C: >200 per oocyte.

Objective: This study aims to explore the differences of the ovarian stimulation (OS) characteristics, laboratory, and clinical outcomes between follicular-phase single-dose gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist protocol and GnRH antagonist protocol during controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH).
Methods: About 1883 consecutive IVF/ICSI fresh cycles of normal ovarian responders were retrospectively analyzed, with 1229 in the single-dose GnRH agonist protocol group and 654 in the GnRH antagonist protocol group at Reproductive Medical Center of Tongji Hospital from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2017.
Results: The follicular-phase single-dose GnRH agonist group showed significantly more oocytes obtained, higher implantation rate and pregnancy rate, as well as lower luteinizing hormone (LH) level and estradiol (E2)/oocyte ratio on the day of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) administration.
Objective: To define the relationship between peak estradiol (E2)/mature oocyte ratio and pregnancy outcomes in gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles.
Study Design: Retrospective cohort study in the setting of an academic reproductive medicine practice. Records from 162 fresh, autologous, GnRH antagonist ICSI cycles performed between 2009 and 2012 .

In order to evaluate whether the ratio of serum estrogen level on the day of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) administration to number of oocyte retrieved has any impact on live birth rate in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), we retrospectively analyzed the clinical data from 7,112 women treated with GnRH-a long protocol in our center. Cycles were firstly divided into 6 groups according to the E2/oocyte ratio (< 150 pg/ml; 150~300 pg/ml; 300~450 pg/ml; 450-600 pg/ml; 600-750 pg/ml; ≥ 750 pg/ml). Live birth rate (39.
