Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) poses a significant public health challenge globally, with an estimated 23 million opioid users in India. Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) stands as the cornerstone of treatment, offering potential reductions in morbidity, societal burdens, and improvements in patient quality of life. However, OAT coverage remains fairly low in India, with clinical guidelines lacking comprehensive information on implementation pragmatics.

Background: Larotrectinib is the first-in-class, highly selective TRK inhibitor with demonstrated efficacy in various TRK fusion solid tumours. We report the efficacy and safety of larotrectinib in patients with TRK fusion gastrointestinal (GI) cancer.
Methods: Patients with TRK fusion GI cancer from NAVIGATE (NCT02576431) were included.
Background: Substance use among healthcare professionals is not uncommon. The challenges of seeking treatment, maintaining employment, and being in recovery are compounded by the demanding profession.
Methods: This qualitative descriptive study used interviews with substance use treatment providers in Colorado.

Left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) serve as critical life-sustaining therapy for patients with end-stage heart failure awaiting heart transplantation, significantly improving survival rates and enabling social reintegration. However, many patients with LVAD face multiple challenges in their daily lives and social reintegration, such as anxiety about the device, low societal awareness, and economic and psychological burdens. In Japan, where prolonged waiting periods for heart transplants are inevitable, these challenges further exacerbate the economic and psychological burdens on both patients and caregivers.
